Personal Independence Payment Assessment Criteria – Consultation on Tuesday 20 March 2012

Most likely you are already aware the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) have consulted with disabled people about changing Disability Living Allowance to a new benefit, titled Personal Independence Payments (PIP). The DWP have now settled on the general principles and scope of the assessment for the PIP. They are however consulting on the details of how the assessment process will work.

Ideal for All will be hosting a one day consultation to invite you to air your views on the proposed assessment criteria, descriptor weightings and assessment thresholds.  This consultation will take place on Tuesday 20 March at Council Chambers, Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury B69 3DE. We will be holding two sessions 10am till 12.30pm and 1.30pm till 4pm.
