Ideal for All

Create a living space in your garden

sunflowerGardening enthusiasts are invited to Malthouse Garden Club organised by disability charity Ideal for All. The club is a monthly event at the Independent Living Centre in Smethwick.

The club is a lively and fun way to learn more about gardening, food growing and nature and wildlife in the garden. Each month a different speaker and topic is featured. This month Darren Rudge, an expert in landscape and garden design will be talking about creating living spaces in the garden.

Darren has over twenty years experience in the horticultural industry and during that time has co-designed a number of show gardens at BBC Gardeners World which have earned him gold, silver and bronze Royal Horticultural Society medals.

Darren will demonstrate how to bring colour and interest to the garden creating living spaces which give a visual link to nature and form a sanctuary to escape the pressures of modern life, where you can relax, eat and entertain.

The free event takes place on Wednesday 9 May and starts at 6pm until 8pm. To find out more about the club or to book a place please call Veronica or Helen on 0121 558 5555.
