Blind Dave Heeley super heroic athelete, patron of Ideal for All

Marathon hero Blind Dave Heeley is urging people across the Black Country and Birmingham to vote for additional funding for a new sensory garden in his local park in a competition to win £22,500.

Dave - best known for being the first blind man to run seven marathons on seven continents in seven days - said it would be fantastic for the money to come to Dartmouth Park in his home town of West Bromwich.

If you would like to help, you have until midnight on 31 October to vote in the competition to win Groundwork UK's Transform Your Patch funding.

You can only vote by email or online through the Transform Your Patch website or on Facebook.

You can vote for one project in each region every day for the duration of the campaign period.
