Enablement & Engagement

The aim of the service is to support disabled people to improve their quality of life through providing practical support and information. This is achieved by actively promoting and encouraging participation of disabled people, their families and carers in the diverse services and activities, events and projects of Ideal for All.

What does the Service offer?

  • To be the positive voice for disabled people.

  • Ideal for All membership. Form available from the link at the bottom of this page, or see the 'downloads' section of the website

  • Helping disabled people to remove barriers to independent living.

  • The opportunity for members to get involved and have their say on service provision and other issues that affect them.

  • We work with voluntary and community organisations to inform them about services run by Ideal for All and identify opportunities for partnership working.

  • Referrals to appropriate agencies.

  • The chance for people to take part in our ‘Have Your Say’ coffee mornings.

  • A monthly community newsletter on disability issues.

Sandwell Disability Network

This service facilitates the Sandwell Disability Network. This is a network of voluntary and community organisations supporting disabled people. The aims of the network include information sharing, collaborative working and influencing service provision.
